Mommy's Morning Smoothie Recipe
- 4-5 kale leaves
- 2 handfuls of blueberries
- 1 mandarin orange
- 1 banana
- 1 cup ice
I used my trusty old Ninja to make this delicious smoothie! I've been debating investing in a Vitamix but, for now, my Ninja gets the job done! I always put the kale on the bottom; that way seems to ensure it gets chopped up better. Then, I pile in the fruit and the ice goes on top. If you want to add in a liquid, orange juice would be great! I did end up having to add in some liquid (water) to get my Ninja going!
